Adelaide Fringe is the largest arts event in the Southern Hemisphere and is internationally renowned as one of the best. For 24 summer days and balmy nights during February and March, this annual open-access festival brings together more than 4,000 artists from around Australia and across the globe, in a program bursting with world premieres, hit shows and new artists. Adelaide Fringe literally takes over the entire city with over 900 events staged in pop-up venues in parks, warehouses, lane-ways and disused buildings as well as established venues such as theatres, hotels, art galleries and cafes.
