This was my favourite stop on our tour of the Barossa, I even took friends there the following month. Love the atmosphere, the wine, the homemade chutneys, jams and of course everything is done my hand on site. Just love everything it's about! By far one of Adelaide's Heaps Good places!

When I'm in the Barossa I can't go past this place - taste the wines and then taste all the chutneys and jams. I always walk out loaded!

Their Alicante Bouchet is superb. It's great to be able to order it in bulk and have 'em home delivered. A great light wine for dinner parties or, as previously statedby others, even with the Friday night pizza

Basket Press Shiraz is as good as Grange. Their Alicante Bouchet is the best Rose on the market, it's also cheaper to buy it at the Cellar Door

What is Heaps Good?

We reckon South Australia has heaps of good bits, but not everyone knows about them. This site lets South Aussies say which bits they reckon are better than good. It's also a great way to find out about a heap of good stuff you never knew was here.
